Food safety is vital. We'll cover proper handling and preparation techniques to prevent illnesses. Let me share with you about my background...

Let me take a moment to introduce you to Joanna, a home cook with a wonderfully quirky blend of experience that spans both education and the art of cooking! After enjoying a fun-filled and rewarding career as a public school teacher, she decided it was time for a change and made the exciting leap from the classroom to the family farm kitchen. There, she’s been busy whipping up a delightful array of mouthwatering meals that could make even the most reluctant broccoli lover crack a smile. But that’s not all—Joanna is also a certified ServSafe instructor/proctor, which means she not only creates delicious food but also knows all the ins and outs of keeping it safe to eat.  With her background as a science educator, an infectious sense of humor, and a passion for teaching, Joanna will truly make your classroom experience with ServSafe  an adventure.

A note from Joanna...

I’m super excited to cater to the needs of adult learners and create an amazing supportive environment just for them! With years teaching experience and an absolute passion for education, along with my master's degree in curriculum and instruction, I’m all about crafting engaging meaningful learning experiences. My mission is to help grow and inspire a love for learning that lasts a lifetime—let’s make this journey together unforgettable!
